Dittmar & Indrenius > Associate Trainees 2024

Are you the Associate Trainee that we are looking for?

Our team would not be complete without our Associate Trainees! Associate Trainees, who work full-time, are usually in the final stretch of their studies – they have completed at least half of their studies. They practice what it’s like to work as a lawyer at Dittis; their tasks and ways of working are very similar to those of a young lawyer – of course, with the support of their more experienced colleagues.

At Dittis we hire trainees to work with the whole company, not just with a certain practice group. As an Associate Trainee you get to influence which fields of law you’ll work with – it truly is a superb chance to try out different legal fields! You will also work with both younger and more experienced lawyers and partners since we do not follow a formal “chain of command”. After your traineeship, you have most certainly gathered wide-ranged experience.

You might be the rising star we are looking for, if

  • You are motivated by common goals and close cooperation with your colleagues
  • You are aiming to develop into a lawyer with both cutting-edge expertise and a talent of listening to the customer
  • You have an ambitious and curious mind and you’re always looking for new angles and solutions
  • Getting to know and working with various fields of law motivates you

We are now looking for Associate Trainees to join our team during the spring 2024 (approximately from January onwards). Please tell us in your application if you have a specific wish for the time of your traineeship or if you are flexible with the timing.

How to apply?

We want to get to know you! Tell us who you are as a person, what really motivates you and what you are expecting from our mutual journey.

Send your CV, application letter (in Finnish or in English) and transcript of studies no later than on Sunday, August 27th 2023, by e-mail to [email protected]. Title your message as “Associate Trainee” and send your application documents as PDF files.

Is there anything else you would like to know? Please contact our Talent & Recruitment Specialist Heta Havu ([email protected], +358 50 355 4875) or HR & Communications Coordinator Kaisa Pietilä ([email protected]). In addition, you can have a look at our social media channels to get a first touch of your future colleagues.

Our culture

What is this thing called Dittis?

Dittmar & Indrenius, also known as Dittis, is a law firm, but most of all it is a community. We at Dittis are willing to give whatever it takes when we are helping our customers or building a better workplace. We are especially excited about legal aspects of transactions, new technologies and innovations, and dispute resolution. We want to raise legal experts of wide range, and this is why our lawyers work across traditional practice borders. Teamwork is what helps us to help our clients better. We want to solve the most complex cases, and this is why thinking big and thinking creative is important.

Dittis is all about Culture with a capital C – all the decisions we make will always come down to our culture. Our culture inspires us to aim high and reach for the stars. It encourages us always putting the team first and to develop ourselves to be the best version of ourselves every day. We set titles aside; every member of our Dittis family is equally important, and we are known for our easy-going atmosphere.

As a Dittis trainee, you will embark on a journey that makes you learn, grow and shine. Our most important goal as an employer is to be the best place to develop for all of our people. It is not an easy task, but we are ready to give our 100 % – are you willing to do the same?
