The need for sustainable energy solutions and continuous improvements in available technology have caused a swift increase in subsidy-free wind power production. Wind power production in Finland is expected to increase by 50% to 3,000 MW and about 1,100 wind turbines during 2021, and quadruple by 2030.
As an increasing number of investors is entering the market, it is important for investors and their financiers to correctly assess the risks involved in the projects and to structure their investments in an optimal way. In the seminar, current challenges and opportunities in wind power projects and their financings are discussed by market, finance, legal and tax experts.
