The ability to use data as the basis for automatic decision making will be crucial for businesses.

Jukka Lång, Partner

We assisted one of Europe’s largest online and mobile consumer lending groups in its proceedings with the Finnish Data Protection Board regarding the lawfulness of creditworthiness assessments based on the use of automated bank account data extraction and positive credit data.

This case was crucial to the continuity of our clients’ business and a landmark case in the use of automated bank account data extraction and positive credit data in creditworthiness assessments.

The case required expertise in, among others, administrative procedure, data flow mapping, financing law, and consumer law.
