We have successfully acted as counsel to one of the world’s largest car manufacturer General Motors and Chevrolet in several cases before the District Courts of Helsinki and Espoo and the Helsinki Court of Appeal.
Currently there are four pending cases in which we have represented General Motors, Chevrolet and a financing company formerly owned by General Motors. These complex cases relate to terminated dealership agreements and include difficult legal questions regarding i.a. contract law questions and lis pendens.
The cases are of particular significance to the financing company as the pending disputes prevent reorganisation and closing down of certain business operations in Finland.
