Partner Anna Haapanen Receives Lifetime Recognition from Finnish IT Law Association
Anna Haapanen has been awarded Honorary Membership of the Finnish IT Law Association at the organisation’s 40th Anniversary Gala held on 12 September 2025. The lifetime recognition acknowledges her two decades of distinguished work in technology law.
Ms Haapanen has served as a pioneering figure in the field, notably becoming the first female Chair of the Board of the Finnish IT Law Association. She subsequently went on to chair the International Federation of Computer Law Associations (IFCLA), the Association’s international umbrella organisation.
Her extensive contributions to technology law and leadership within both national and international legal communities have established her as a respected authority in the field. The Honorary Membership recognises her significant impact on the development of IT law practice and the legal profession more broadly.
