Obtaining merger control clearance for MB Funds’ acquisition of Welado

We advised MB Funds on its acquisition of Welado Oy, including obtaining the merger control approval from the Finnish Competition and Consumer Authority.

The merger control notification was one of the first notifications made in accordance with the renewed Finnish merger control legislation and to which the FCCA's new notification form and guidance were applied. The FCCA provided a very swift Phase I approval for the transaction – within only seven working days of our notification.
