Customer Data-Driven Research Project of a Leading Finnish Research Institute

We advised a leading Finnish research institute in contract drafting and negotiations concerning an economic research project utilising a major Finnish retailing group's customer database.

We conducted an overall assessment of the liability risks and data security requirements of the contemplated research project. In particular, we represented our client in the successful negotiations of a data processing agreement covering the research project and forming the basis for mutually advantageous risk sharing.
