Advising on competition law matters relating to Rexel’s divestiture of its Finnish subsidiary to Ahlsell

We advised Rexel Développement SAS on all competition law aspects relating to the divestiture of its Finnish subsidiary Rexel Finland Oy to Ahlsell Sverige AB.

The transaction originally fell under the jurisdiction of the European Commission, but was eventually referred in full to the Finnish Competition and Consumer Authority on the parties' request and, in September 2025, cleared unconditionally by the FCCA.
