The work is performed by a highly qualified multidisciplinary team of physiologists, mathematicians, software engineers and user experience designers and researchers, and the proprietary data essential for modelling new insights is collected by Garmin’s R&D unit in Jyväskylä. Until 2020, Garmin Jyväskylä operated as the consumer licensing division of Firstbeat Technologies.
