Obtaining merger control clearance for Elcoline’s acquisition of SSG Sahala

We advised Elcoline on its acquisition of SSG Sahala Oy, including obtaining the merger control approval from the Finnish Competition and Consumer Authority.

Elcoline is a Nordic growth company which provides industrial maintenance services and implements demanding technical projects. It employs more than 800 industrial service professionals in Finland and Sweden and had a pro forma revenue of EUR 67 million in 2022. Elcoline’s customer base includes well-known international industrial companies. Elcoline is ultimately owned by Evli, a Finnish asset manager with assets under management of approx. EUR 18.5 billion.

SSG Sahala Oy is an industrial maintenance company whose services cover comprehensive maintenance, condition monitoring, as well as extensive maintenance and installation projects. SSG Sahala employs approximately 180 maintenance professionals at eight locations.
