Representing Tallink before the Market Court

We represented Tallink Grupp AS, one of the largest publicly listed companies in Estonia, in a multimillion-euro State aid case arising from financial aid granted by the Finnish government to the maritime transportation sector. The case combined EU State aid law, public procurement law, and the entirely new aid legislation introduced following the Covid-19 pandemic. All three appeals lodged by Tallink’s competitor were dismissed by the Market Court.
