Dittmar & Indrenius has presented its annual thesis award to the master’s thesis in business law recognised by the Faculty of Law at the University of Helsinki as the most outstanding among those completed in 2025.
This year’s thesis award goes to Anni Paakkari for her master’s thesis “International Human Rights Law and Algorithmic Discrimination in Medical Artificial Intelligence”.
“The thesis skilfully bridges technical AI expertise and legal-political insight, offering a critical, well-sourced examination of how algorithmic bias in medical AI challenges international human rights law,” says Juli Mansnérus, Partner at Dittmar & Indrenius.
Warm congratulations to Anni Paakkari on an excellent master’s thesis!
At a ceremony held at Dittmar & Indrenius, the award was presented by Jukka Mähönen, Dean of the Faculty of Law at the University of Helsinki, and Partner Juli Mansnérus from Dittmar & Indrenius.
The thesis award is presented annually to a thesis in business law selected by the Faculty for its outstanding academic merit. Dittmar & Indrenius has presented this award since 1998.
