Acquisition of Laserkeskus

We advise Opima on its acquisition of Laserkeskus.

Laserkeskus is a well-established contract manufacturer in metal processing, founded in 2003 and based in Laitila, north of Turku, Finland. The company has around 100 employees and serves some 300 B2B customers across the energy, lifting and transport equipment, agriculture, forestry, defence and off-highway sectors. Laserkeskus provides customised solutions across a broad range of services, including laser cutting, machining, press braking and welding, working with steel, aluminium and demanding special materials to serve customers throughout southern and western Finland.

Opima is the partner for companies in the manufacturing industry seeking a customer-oriented and flexible supplier able to offer both individual solutions and comprehensive services. Opima was established in May 2024 by private equity firm Celero Capital through the acquisition of several specialist companies that together provide services to the manufacturing industry.

The acquisition of Laserkeskus represents Opima's first investment in the Finnish market and supports Opima's ambition to establish a presence across the entire Nordic region.

The transaction is subject to merger clearance.
