Dittmar & Indrenius > Associate Trainees 2025

We are now looking for Associate Trainees to join us!

“Working in different departments helped me find my own interests. The traineeship exceeded my expectations – I really got involved in an inspiring and warm working community.”

“Working house-wide provided interesting challenges and new things to learn. The support and guidance helped me to develop as a lawyer while constantly learning new things.”

“The strong culture at Dittis is evident on a daily basis. As a trainee, I was immediately integrated into the team, given responsibility and allowed to develop in my area of discomfort with the right support.”

This is how our previous Associate Trainees described their internship with us. Would you like to explore different areas of law and challenge yourself with the strong support of more experienced lawyers? We are now looking for Associate Trainees for a four-month internship, mainly for winter and spring 2026.

At Dittis, we recruit our Associate Trainees primarily for Dittis, not for a specific practice or group, which allows you to work across the firm. However, your own interests and aspirations will strongly guide which areas of law you work on. In other words, depending on your interests, you can either gain experience from different parts of the firm or deepen your knowledge in a particular practice area. You will work with both young associates as well as partners and be able to learn from everyone around the office. As one of our Associate Trainees, you’ll get to work on similar tasks as our young associates – with strong support from more experienced practitioners, of course. So, by the end of your traineeship, you’re guaranteed to have built up a wealth of experience and expertise.

Who is the traineeship best suited for?

You have reached the master’s stage in your studies and are therefore in the final stages of your studies. You may have previously worked as an office or clerical assistant in a law firm, as a trainee in an in-house legal team or as a public law trainee. You have good communication skills and work well in a team.

You could be the rising star we’re looking for if:

  • You have progressed to master’s level in your studies
  • You are motivated by shared goals and feel comfortable working as part of a team
  • You have a proactive, diligent and solution-oriented approach to your work
  • You have a curious nature, looking for new angles and solutions wherever possible

We believe that a determined and curious attitude and a strong passion will get you far. We welcome a wide range of personalities, but we all agree that even challenging work can be done with a human touch, despite a high level of ambition.

  • A dedicated tutor throughout your training
  • Feedback in the middle and at the end of your placement
  • A salary based on the recommendations of the Association of Finnish Lawyers
  • A full lunch benefit
  • Interesting and inspiring events
  • Fun activities, such as sports and reading groups
