Kristiina Bernal

Kristiina Bernal has solid experience in the field of employment law. She advises both national and international clients on all employment-related matters, including day-to-day advice, drafting employment and director agreements, reviewing company policies and managing terminations of employment. Kristiina is also advising clients on matters relating to transfers of undertakings, workforce restructuring and organizational changes.

In addition to her advisory work, Kristiina has particular expertise in representing employers in dispute resolution. Kristiina has represented numerous clients in dispute resolution both in General Courts and in the Labour Court. Besides the District Court and the Court of Appeal, she has acted as counsel to employers also before the Supreme Court of Finland.

Prior to joining D&I, Kristiina has gained experience from a Finnish law firm specializing in employment law, first as a lawyer and most recently as a managing director.
