We advised Layer Group in its acquisition of Kaukomaalaus.
Layer Group is Sweden’s largest surface services group, consisting of more than 50 companies with a total of 1,600 employees and a turnover of EUR 200 million. Layer Group is owned and run by management, local entrepreneurs and the investment companies Litorina and Bragnum Invest.
Kaukomaalaus Oy, founded in 1981 and headquartered in Seinäjoki, is one of the largest painting companies in Finland, with 250 employees and a EUR 20 million turnover.
The acquisition of Kaukomaalaus represents Layer Group’s platform investment in the Finnish market and the start of Layer Group’s ventures beyond Sweden’s borders.
