We advised Foresight Energy Infrastructure Partners, a Luxembourg Special Limited Partnership for which Foresight Group LLP acts as portfolio manager, on the Finnish law aspects of its acquisition of an onshore wind farm project in Finland from a development consortium comprising Smart Windpower Oy, Mincovest Oy and GE Renewable Energy.
The Puskakorpi onshore wind farm, located in the Northern Ostrobothnia region in the municipality of Pyhäjoki, is expected to commence its commercial operations in late 2022. Once operational, Puskakorpi will comprise 16 turbines with a total power output of 88 MW, generating enough renewable energy to power the equivalent of 55,000 households in Finland.
