We advise Varma Mutual Pension Insurance Company and Ilmarinen Mutual Pension Insurance Company on their participation in the Series E financing round of ICEYE at a EUR 2.4 billion valuation.

The financing round is led by General Catalyst, with strong pan-European participation, including A.P. Moller Holding from Denmark, Bpifrance from France, Vinci (BGK Group) and RiO Family Office from Poland, as well as Finnish investors Solidium, European Tech Collective, Keva, Lifeline Ventures, Finnish Industry Investment (Tesi) and Peter Sarlin.

ICEYE is the world leader in synthetic aperture radar (SAR) satellite systems and the funding will be used to accelerate ICEYE’s delivery of sovereign satellite systems and data intelligence services.
