We advised the anchor investor Ilkka Herlin in the Finnish green hydrogen and power-to-gas developer Nordic Ren-Gas in connection with the initial investment in 2021 and in connection with the announced minority investment by Allianz Capital Partners in Nordic Ren-Gas.
The power-to-gas production facilities to be developed by Nordic Ren-Gas will produce renewable synthetic methane from green hydrogen using renewable energy and carbon dioxide from district heating plants. CO2-free excess heat from the process is supplied to the district heating networks near the facilities.
