Jussi Koivusalo advises international and domestic clients on matters relating to all aspects of competition law, public procurement and state aid. Jussi’s expertise also covers EU law and disputes concerning competition law.

Prior to joining Dittmar & Indrenius, Jussi worked for several years for the Finnish Competition and Consumer Authority as a senior specialist in the competition enforcement unit. His work at the authority covered antitrust investigations and competition law advisory in a broad range of industries as well as judicial proceedings. As the principal case handler in several cases, Jussi gained valuable experience relating to cartels and vertical agreements. He also acted as counsel in the litigation of several of the FCCA’s latest competition cases decided by or currently under review by the Finnish courts.

In addition to his Master of Laws degree from the University of Helsinki, Jussi holds an LL.M. degree from the University of Amsterdam. He is also pursuing a doctorate in EU competition law in the University of Helsinki, focusing on the interplay between EU competition law and the pursuit of sustainable development.
