Acquisition of Leppäkosken Sähkö

We advise Pori Energia in its acquisition of Leppäkosken Sähkö, an electricity distribution system operator responsible for supplying electricity to more than 30,000 customers in the Pirkanmaa and Satakunta regions.

Pori Energia is an energy utility owned by the City of Pori (51%) and Polhem Infra KB (49%). Polhem Infra is owned by Swedish state pension funds and its objective is to make long-term investments in critical infrastructure. Pori Energia has a history of more than 120 years in the energy sector. Following the transaction, Pori Energia's electricity distribution business will rank among the ten largest electricity distribution system operators in Finland.

The completion of the transaction is subject to regulatory approvals and is expected to be completed by the end of 2026.
