Dittmar & Indrenius > Insight > Great Place to Work

Today we celebrate our culture! We have landed in the sweet 16th spot in the Great Place to Work® Finland survey, being the only law firm recognized in the TOP 20 list of mid-sized companies in Finland.

“Being officially recognized as a Great Place to Work® feels really good. However, for us, it is not about the competition or even benchmarking against other great culture-driven companies. Instead, we use the GPTW survey as an annual measurement tool for getting authentic responses and real data on how our people feel about working at D&I. An important part of our vision is to be a progressive and inspirational working community for star individuals. We are committed to maintain D&I a community where people feel good about coming to work – Teams or the office – every single day. People are all we have, and how we feel about working together has a tremendous impact on how well we serve our clients”, says Gabrielle Dannberg, Managing Partner.

“We have been leading and strengthening our culture long before it became a buzz-word. The cornerstones of our team-based culture are standing strong, and but as the world around us evolves, there is always room for improvement. To be honest, the work is not always easy. The best feedback I’ve heard is that our cultural cornerstones, passion, team before individual, respect and goal-driven, are not only talk at D&I! Even our clients say that you can sense our culture in the way we communicate and treat each other in our everyday work. To me personally, the most important feature of our culture is that we share the same strive for excellence and we are always kind and respectful to each other”, says Mikael Ahtokari, Director, People & Culture.

Building on our Sustainability Programme

In 2024, we continued to build on the Sustainability Programme first introduced in our inaugural report. This programme has guided us toward tangible progress and a path that keeps evolving. Our three pillars of the programme—advising our clients, internal sustainability, and our broader role in society—remain solid, while our most meaningful impact on society stems from our advisory work, grounded in an understanding of our clients’ businesses and the evolving landscape in which they operate.

Q&A: Exploring the Future of Legal Work with AI

Embracing cutting-edge technology is crucial for delivering the highest level of legal service and strategic advice to our clients. However, for us, technology—especially AI—isn’t just about innovation for its own sake. At Dittmar & Indrenius it’s about using the right tools to elevate the quality and depth of our work. Through our firm-wide initiative, ‘Working Smart with Legal Tech’, we continuously scout and pilot new tools in the legal tech and AI space, ensuring that each one offers real value to our client work. Collaboration with clients and partner firms worldwide is key to this approach, allowing us to stay ahead of rapid developments and implement solutions that benefit both our clients and our team.
