The highest total fine ever in a competition case

We represented the Finnish Competition and Consumer Authority in the Asphalt Cartel case, the all-time biggest competition case in Finland.

In 2009, the Supreme Administrative Court imposed fines of approximately EUR 83 million, still the highest total fines so far in Finland. This was the first time the Supreme Administrative Court held an oral hearing in a competition case.
