We assisted a major Finnish listed company in adopting the rights to process traffic data, also known as Lex Nokia rights.
We reviewed and revised the company’s written data security documentation, including e.g. data security guidelines for employees. Based on our advice and because of the increasing importance of cyber security in the company’s branch of industry, the company decided to start the process to adopt the rights to process traffic data. Lex Nokia rights are only available to an organisation with highly developed and sophisticated data security practices.
We assisted our client in all the phases of the process, including filing a notification to the the Finnish Data Protection Authority and negotiations with the Authority.
